Splus Functions and Scripts
The software requires Splus to work.
Users are expected to have a licensed copy of Splus.

Installation
The script files use functions and data that are not a part of Splus.
The functions and data are bundled in various
data.dump() files and stored in separate text files.
The commands to read the files are in the scripts. They may need to be
modified if the files are not stored in the user's home directory.
When functions are saved in Splus, they do not have to
be read in again for different script files.
The lines can be commented out in subsequent script files.
For example the command
data.restore(file='panel.dmp')
appears in many scripts.
Most functions do not come with documentation.
There is a BLS technical report that describes
the panel functions and constants in panel.dmp
