The Department of Applied and Engineering Statistics is the academic unit within the School of Information Technology and Engineering that is responsible for a number of statistics related programs. These include a M.S. in Statistical Science, the statistics component of both the Ph.D. in Computational Sciences and the Ph.D. in Information Technology, the Graduate Certificate in Federal Statistics, and the Graduate Certificate in Signal Processing. Virtually all courses in the graduate program are offered in the late afternoon at 4:30 p.m. or the early evening at 7:20 p.m. This is intended as a convenience for part-time students who wish to pursue graduate work while employed.
