STAT 673 Statistical Methods for Longitudinal Data Analysis
(3:3:0). Prerequisite.- STAT 574. Principles of the design and analysis of
longitudinal studies. Retrospective and prospective studies, repeated periodic
and continuous surveys, rotating panel surveys, managing a longitudinal
database, estimation of the level and change of population means,
proportions and totals over time. Techniques include the classical minimum
variance unbiased estimators, time series analysis, and model-based
multivariate analysis. Case studies such as the Current Population Survey
and the National Crime Survey.
