ABSTRACT

Large data pipes, such as the Internet or sensor networks, are increasingly becoming the object of interest for data miners. Because of the amount of data and the speed at which decisions must be made, traditional statistical methods are often inadequate. In this talk I hope to give an indication of the complexity of this problem and show that data is our friend.
