The Sheraton City Centre hotel (a virtual tour is available) is located at 150 West 500 South in downtown Salt Lake City, just a few miles east of the Salt Lake City International Airport. If you travel by car, you can reach Salt Lake City via I-15 or I-80. Please use this map for driving directions to the hotel.

With the completion of a $14 million dollar renovation the Sheraton City Centre offers a resort atmosphere in the center of the city. True to a resort tradition, it also provides its guests more services than any other hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. Located in the main and lower lobbies are a Delta Airlines Ticket office, gift shop and a hair salon. Our secluded inner courtyard features an outdoor swimming pool and patio area with an indoor therapy pool and a men and women's sauna as well. A new fitness center has been recently added, as well as a Business Activity and Tour Center. The Hotel offers STSN T1 high speed internet access in all our guest rooms as well as in our Convention area.

A block of rooms has been reserved for Interface 2003 participants. The rate is $119 per night plus tax for a single room and $129 per night plus tax for a double room. Please call the hotel directly at (800) 421-7602 from outside Utah or (801) 401-2000 from within Utah to make your reservations by 5pm MST, February 17, 2003, and be sure to mention the name of the conference in order to obtain these rates. The hotel can also be contacted by FAX (801) 534-3450. Rooms are available at this special rate for the nights of Tuesday March 11 through Saturday March 15, 2003.

Parking at the hotel is free for registered guests of the Sheraton. If you want to park on the Sheraton grounds (and do not stay at the hotel), you will be able to purchase a discounted parking permit ($ 3.00 for 24 hours instead of $ 6.00) at the Interface registration desk.

Salt Lake City is a dynamic urban center offering a host of exciting things to see and do. Located downtown, the Sheraton is close to The Salt Palace Convention Center, Symphony Hall, Capitol Theatre, and the Delta Center for the sports and entertainment enthusiasts. The world famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir performs regularly at "Historic Temple Square" which is located 4 blocks from our facility. Trolley Square, Crossroads Plaza and ZCMI Mall are also within a few blocks of our location and provide shopping and eating facilities.

Events: Here is some information about the current weather and events (between 3/11/03 and 3/16/03) in Salt Lake City (and surrounding cities). The Delta Center presents Disney On Ice: Toy Story 2 (between 3/12/03 and 3/16/03).

The Great Salt Lake and numerous summer and winter sporting areas in the Rocky Mountains are only 30-45 minutes from the hotel. Utah's National Parks (Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Zion) and the National Parks in Wyoming (Grand Teton, Yellowstone) are within a few hours of driving distance from Salt Lake City.
